Copying .cda Files to PC

It happened to me when I wanted to have CD tracks in mi PC rather than in the CD itself, I thought at that moment that copying all .cda files from this CD to mi PC would be enough, but it wasn't.

Then, I believed that it would be easier to have this track in MP3 format, so I made a little research I discovered that Nero could help me with this mission.

Perhaps, the latest version of Nero will show more options, however I consider that it keeps the similar procedure explained here (based on Nero 9).

Open Nero Burning Rom application through Start menu and this window will appear.

You have to close the previous window to keep only the main form, where you are going to select the "Save Audio Tracks..." from the "Extras" menu item.

After this, the program will read all tracks which are contained into the CD, here you are asked for the tracks you want to convert to MP3.

Select the files to extract

Before starting the copying process you need to go to the "Output" tab, which is necessary to set the output directory and the format you desire to have finally.

Select the audio format

Once you configured everything, push the "Copy" button and wait the process to be finished.

Wait for the extraction to happen

I'm sure that it's not necessary to tell you that before doing these steps, you need first to have your CD inside the CD reader. No? haha.

    Or you can use windows Media Player to Rip the audio files in the CD. I am puzzled myself, but it works.

      Thx. Ripping with Windows Media Player is indeed simple...no need to download and anything additional!

Inserting Rows o Columns in Excel Not Permitted

I'm opening an Excel file and when I try to insert a new row or column I get a message error giving me a large text about how this is not possible. I have seen many people facing this message, although this gives the solution, sometimes it's hard to understand what this message is trying to say.     But, what's happening? Let me tell you that you' re using all the rows or columns of the file, yes, believe it or not you are having information (even blank space) at least at the last row or column allowed. So, when you want to add a new one, Excel tries to delete this row or column because it will be out of range with the new element inserted. Turn Horizontal Visio Swimlanes into Vertical Ones

In one ocassion, a friend at work called me because she had a problem with Microsoft Visio , she was trying to draw a process flowchat but using swimlanes, this was not a problem until she realized that it would be better to use vertical swimlanes instead of horizontal ones.    But, when she tried to drag a vertical one it just put together to the previous swimlanes created before.  To avoid creating a new visio document and lost your work just go to 'Cross-Functional Flowchart' ribbon and select 'Orientation' and 'Vertical'.     And it's done, now you can work with vertical swimlanes or if you like it you can turn them back to horizontal ones.
