Create a Folder Grouping Messages From Different Accounts in Thunderbird

Case: You have several accounts in Thunderbird and you want to have one folder that will show you the messages from all the accounts. In this case the folder will show all the emails in the sent folder of each account that where sent in less than 7 days.

Requisites: Thunderbird.

Steps:
  • Go to 'Local Folders' and then to 'Search Messages...'.

 
Search messages in local folders
 

  • Click on 'Save as Virtual Folder'.

  • Put a name to the new folder and click on 'Choose...'.

     
    Choose the folders to search on


  • Check the folders you want the messages to be collected from and click 'OK'.


     
    Select first folder to search
     
    Select second folder to search

    Select OK to confirm folders

     
  • Tick 'Search Online' and put the criteria, in this case all the messages that were sent less than 7 days. Then click on 'Update'.

Results: The 'Sent' folder will be created and will show the messages in the folders defined that comply with the criteria.

Turn Horizontal Visio Swimlanes into Vertical Ones

In one ocassion, a friend at work called me because she had a problem with Microsoft Visio , she was trying to draw a process flowchat but using swimlanes, this was not a problem until she realized that it would be better to use vertical swimlanes instead of horizontal ones.    But, when she tried to drag a vertical one it just put together to the previous swimlanes created before.  To avoid creating a new visio document and lost your work just go to 'Cross-Functional Flowchart' ribbon and select 'Orientation' and 'Vertical'.     And it's done, now you can work with vertical swimlanes or if you like it you can turn them back to horizontal ones.

Case: You try to install TWRP Recovery in your Xiaomi Redmi 6A, but the official process doesn't work. Requisites: Xiaomi Redmi 6A phone, USB cable, computer with Windows and TWRP Cactus Tools installed .
